Common EIder, King EIder "Sense of Place" teaser

Hello folks-
The book/dvd/cd release "Sense of Place" is almost finished! The book looks amazing, and the new piece for the soundtrack came out great. We are really excited about the soundtrack- half is on the dvd and the second half is on a cd. This means to fully experience the piece, you have to play the cd on a second device while watching the dvd. Release date towards the end of August exclusively from us and aquarius records. Limited to 250.

Colin Langenus (USAISAMONSTER) just posted his new record of improvisations / noise jams he has been collecting over the years at Free Music Archives. He came up to Alaska in 2004 and stayed with me for a month. We went on a lot of hikes, hung out with my dog, and recorded a bunch of super noisy stuff. I feel fortunate that I got to spend that time with him, and feel honored to be on his compilation. You are a giant, great, big-hearted, giant of a man Mr. Langenus! Check it out at:

WRAPPING UP NEW PROJECTS....

So I just returned from my most recent trip to Dillingham Alaska. Was amazing as usual. The weather was a little on the uncooperative side (blizzard, -25 temps...), so my buddy Kris and I just hunkered down, read books, went snowshoeing, drank coffe, and drank whiskey.... all in all a pretty good trip.....

Back in full gear.... working on the cabin building DVD and soundtrack, and working on the next full-length..... sooooooooon!!!!!

Eider Cabin in Dillingham Alaska Finished!!!

Hello all!

Well, Vicky and I just got back from Dillingham Alaska, and we are proud to announce that the first cabin on the property is up and cozy! We went for two weeks with our friends Blain and Kris, and it was one of the most amazing trips of my life. This first cabin will serve as a warm dry place to base building the next cabin out of, which will be a slightly bigger log cabin and will take a bit longer. Here are a couple of photos, and look for more in the future. Also.... we may put it all together in a book/dvd/cd of new music limited edition release......
